- Isaiah 46:11
yes, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.
– Isaiah 46:11
From this verse we experience the authority and power of. In the beginning, God created all things with His word. All things exist till now because of God’s sovereignty and control. As ordained by the Creator, all things and living beings are able to live and multiply, and adhere to the laws set by God. This is the true embodiment of the authority of God’s words. Just as God says: “The appearance and birth of all these new things were proof of the authority and power of the Creator: He is as good as His word, and His word shall be accomplished, and that which is accomplished lasts forever. This fact has never changed: so it was in the past, so it is today, and so it will be for all eternity.” God’s authority is His unique essence and is something that no creation or non-creation possesses or can ever obtain. How can such a unique God with authority not be worthy of our lifetime’s worship and following?
