- Matthew 24:7-8
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.
– Matthew 24:7-8
In recent years, the disasters are getting worse and worse all over the world. It is horrifying that the earthquakes, floods, droughts, fires, famines and plagues have occurred frequently and spread everywhere. The world is in a state of constant upheaval and turmoil; with wars, violence and terrorist attacks on the rise. For example, in 2008, an 8.0-magnitude earthquake shook Wenchuan County, Sichuan Province, China, and nearly 70,000 people died and nearly 18,000 were missing; In April 2016, India suffered from the worst drought in the past 40 years, and over 300 million people were grappling with a shortage of drinking water. From 2015 to 2016, there were a series of terrorist attacks in Europe, Africa and the Middle East and so on, which led to countless casualties.
From the facts above, we can see that the Lord may have already returned. Then many people may ask: Since the Lord has come back, why haven’t we met Him? But have you ever thought about whether there are some deviations in welcoming theof Jesus? Regarding the second coming of Jesus, many people pay no attention to how to hear like wise virgins or how to welcome the second coming of Jesus. Instead, they cling to their notions and imaginations, thinking the Lord will descend with the clouds, it’s easy for them to miss the chance to welcome the second coming of Jesus!
Share some of: “If you desire to witness the appearance of God, if you wish to follow the footprints of God, then you must first transcend your own conceptions. You must not demand that God do this or that, much less should you place Him within your own confines and limit Him to your own conceptions. Instead, you should ask how you should seek the footprints of God, how you should accept the appearance of God, and how you should submit to the new work of God; that is what should be done by man. Since man is not the truth, and is not possessed of the truth, man should seek, accept, and obey.”
