Know the True Meaning of Faith in God

01 To Believe in God, One Must Recognize That Christ Is God Appearing in the Flesh, and That He Is God Himself

According to biblical record, the Holy Spirit bore witness that the Lord Jesus was God’s beloved Son, and the Lord Jesus also called the God in heaven “Father.” Thus, many people believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that there is also God the Father in heaven. And yet the Lord Jesus said: “He that has seen me has seen the Father; … I am in the Father, and the Father in me” (Jhn 14:9-10). “I and my Father are one” (Jhn 10:30). It can therefore be seen that there is only one God. Jesus Christ was Jehovah God incarnated in the flesh—He was God Himself.

Bible Verses for Reference

“He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life” (Jhn 3:36).

“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me” (Jhn 14:6).

“Philip said to him, Lord, show us the Father…. Jesus said to him, … he that has seen me has seen the Father; … I am in the Father, and the Father in me” (Jhn 14:8-10).

“I and my Father are one” (Jhn 10:30).

“I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth” (Jhn 16:12-13).

Classic Words of God

“God become flesh is called Christ, and so the Christ that can give people the truth is called God. There is nothing excessive about this, for He possesses the substance of God, and possesses God’s disposition, and wisdom in His work, that are unattainable by man. Those who call themselves Christ, yet cannot do the work of God, are frauds. Christ is not merely the manifestation of God on earth, but instead, the particular flesh assumed by God as He carries out and completes His work among man. This flesh is not one that can be replaced by just any man….” Read More

“The incarnate God is called Christ, and Christ is the flesh donned by the Spirit of God. This flesh is unlike any man that is of the flesh. This difference is because Christ is not of flesh and blood but is the incarnation of the Spirit. He has both a normal humanity and a complete divinity. His divinity is not possessed by any man. His normal humanity sustains all His normal activities in the flesh, while His divinity carries out the work of God Himself. Be it His humanity or divinity, both submit to the will of the heavenly Father. The substance of Christ is the Spirit, that is, the divinity…. ” Read More

“The incarnate Son of man expressed God’s divinity through His humanity and conveyed the will of God to mankind. And through the expression of God’s will and disposition, He also revealed to people the God that cannot be seen or touched in the spiritual realm. What people saw was God Himself, tangible and with flesh and bones. So the incarnate Son of man made things such as God’s own identity, status, image, disposition, and what He has and is concrete and humanized. Even though the external appearance of the Son of man had some limitations regarding the image of God….” Read More

Gospel Q&A

The Bible states that after the Lord Jesus was baptized, the heaven was opened, and the Holy Spirit descended upon the Lord Jesus like a dove, a voice said: “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Mat 3:17). Yet you’ve testified that the incarnate Christ is the appearance of God, is God Himself, that the Lord Jesus is God Himself and Almighty God is also God Himself. This...

02 To Believe in God, One Must Recognize That “Only Christ of the Last Days Can Give Man the Way of Eternal Life”

The Lord Jesus said: “I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth” (Jhn 16:12-13). In the last days, the Lord Jesus long ago returned in the flesh as the appearance of the Son of man to do His work and utter His words. This Son of man is Christ of the last days, the Spirit of truth, and He expresses all truths that judge, cleanse and save man. These truths are indeed the way of eternal life that God bestows on mankind, therefore only those who believe in the Christ who has become flesh in the last days and accept the way of eternal life He gives to man will obtain eternal life.

Classic Words of God

“The way of life is not something that can be possessed by just anyone, nor is it easily obtainable by all. That is because life can only come from God, which is to say, only God Himself possesses the substance of life, there is no way of life without God Himself, and so only God is the source of life, and the ever-flowing wellspring of living water of life. From when He created the world, God has done much work involving the vitality of life, has done much work that brings life to man, and has paid a great price so that man might gain life, for God Himself is eternal life….” Read More

“God Himself is life, and the truth, and His life and truth coexist. Those who are incapable of gaining the truth shall never gain life. Without the guidance, support, and provision of the truth, you shall only gain letters, doctrines, and, moreover, death. God’s life is ever-present, and His truth and life coexist. If you cannot find the source of truth, then you will not gain the nourishment of life; if you cannot gain the provision of life, then you will surely have no truth, and so apart from imaginations and conceptions, the entirety of your body shall be nothing but flesh….” Read More

“Christ of the last days brings life, and brings the enduring and everlasting way of truth. This truth is the path through which man shall gain life, and the only path by which man shall know God and be approved by God. If you do not seek the way of life provided by Christ of the last days, then you shall never gain the approval of Jesus, and shall never be qualified to enter the gate of the kingdom of heaven, for you are both a puppet and prisoner of history. Those who are controlled by regulations, by letters, and shackled by history will never be able to gain life….” Read More

Sermon on Eternal Life: Only God Has the Way of Eternal Life

Eternal life means to live forever, to never taste death. Only God has eternal life, only God is the source of life of us human beings, and only God has the way of eternal life.

Gospel Q&A

The Lord Jesus said: “The water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life” (Jhn 4:14). We think that the Lord Jesus has already bestowed on us the way of eternal life, but why do you bear witness that “Only Christ of the Last Days Can Give Man the Way of Eternal Life”?

03 Is Believing in the Lord Jesus Without Believing in Christ of the Last Days a True Belief in the Son, and Can It Lead to Eternal Life?

The Bible says: “He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life” (Jhn 3:36). Belief in the Son is a belief in the incarnated Christ. Many people may ask: The Lord Jesus is the Son of man, He is Christ, and so by believing in the Lord Jesus, we should obtain eternal life. Why then do we still have to believe in the words and work of Christ of the last days before we can obtain eternal life?

Bible Verses for Reference

“He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God stays on him” (Jhn 3:36).

“I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth” (Jhn 16:12-13).

“And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejects me, and receives not my words, has one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day” (Jhn 12:47-48).

“For the Father judges no man, but has committed all judgment to the Son” (Jhn 5:22).

“And has given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man” (Jhn 5:27).

Classic Words of God

“Though Jesus did much work among man, He only completed the redemption of all mankind and became man’s sin offering, and did not rid man of all his corrupt disposition. Fully saving man from the influence of Satan not only required Jesus to take on the sins of man as the sin offering, but also required God to do greater work to completely rid man of his disposition, which has been corrupted by Satan. And so, after man was forgiven his sins, God has returned to flesh to lead man into the new age, and begun the work of chastisement and judgmen….” Read More

“The sins of man could be forgiven through the sin offering, but as for just how man can be made to sin no more, and how his sinful nature may be extirpated completely and transformed, he has no way of solving this problem. The sins of man were forgiven, and this is because of the work of God’s crucifixion, but man continued to live within the corrupt satanic disposition of old. This being so, man must be completely saved from his corrupt satanic disposition, so that his sinful nature may be completely extirpated, never to develop again, thus enabling the disposition of man to be transformed….” Read More

“Only God’s work of cleansing will cleanse humanity of their unrighteousness, and only His work of chastisement and judgment will bring to light those disobedient things among humanity, thereby separating those who can be saved from those who cannot, and those who will remain from those who will not. When His work ends, those people who remain will be cleansed and enjoy a more wonderful second human life upon the earth as they enter a higher realm of humanity; in other words, they will enter into humanity’s day of rest and live together with God.” Read More

Gospel Q&A

Question: Almighty God’s word says, “Only Christ of the Last Days Can Give Man the Way of Eternal Life.” I remembered what the Lord Jesus once said, “But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life” (Jhn 4:14). We already know the Lord Jesus is the source of the living water of life, and the way of everlasting life. Could it be that Almighty God and the Lord Jesus are of the same source? Are Their work and words both of the Holy Spirit? Are Their work done by the same God?

04 The Jewish Pharisees Believed Only in Jehovah God, and Not in the Lord Jesus. They Also Resisted and Condemned the Lord Jesus, and Were Therefore Punished and Cursed by God. What Warning Does This Give to Us?

01. Is Believing in a Vague, Heavenly God and Not in the Incarnated Christ True Faith in God?

Exactly how should one believe in God? The Lord Jesus said: “If you believe not that I am he, you shall die in your sins” (Jhn 8:24). Thinking back to the early days, the Jewish Pharisees believed only in a vague heavenly God, and when the incarnated God—Jesus Christ—appeared and performed His work, not only did they not believe in Him but they also resisted and condemned Him. Ultimately, they nailed the Lord Jesus to the cross and thus were punished and cursed by God. In the last days, God has once again incarnated as the appearance of the Son of man to perform His work, and if people don’t believe in this incarnated, practical God—Christ of the last days—and only believe in a vague, heavenly God, then is this true faith in God?

Bible Verses for Reference

“I said therefore to you, that you shall die in your sins: for if you believe not that I am he, you shall die in your sins” (Jhn 8:24).

“Hereby know you the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist” (1Jn 4:2-3).

“For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist” (2Jn 1:7).

Classic Words of God

“The arrival of God incarnate of the last days has brought an end to the Age of Grace. He has come chiefly to speak His words, to use words to make man perfect, to illuminate and enlighten man, and to remove the place of the vague God within man’s heart. This is not the stage of work that Jesus did when He came. When Jesus came, He performed many miracles, He healed the sick and cast out demons, and He did the work of redemption of the crucifixion. As a consequence, in his conceptions, man believes that this is how God should be.” Read More

02. If One Merely Holds to the Letters and Rules of the Bible in One’s Belief and Does Not Seek the Way to Be Compatible With Christ, Can One Obtain Eternal Life?

Many believers in God believe that the Bible represents God, and that a belief in God is a belief in the Bible, and by holding to the Bible they can obtain eternal life. And yet the Lord Jesus said: “Search the scriptures; for in them you think you have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And you will not come to me, that you might have life” (Jhn 5:39-40). What is the real meaning of these words spoken by the Lord Jesus? If one only holds to the Bible and does not seek the way to be compatible with Christ, can one then obtain eternal life?

Bible Verses for Reference

“Search the scriptures; for in them you think you have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And you will not come to me, that you might have life” (Jhn 5:39-40).

“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me” (Jhn 14:6).

Classic Words of God

"For God does not look back on history! And so, if you only understand the Bible, and understand nothing of the work God intends to do today, and if you believe in God but do not seek the work of the Holy Spirit, then you do not understand what it means to seek God. If you read the Bible in order to study the history of Israel, to research the history of God’s creation of all the heavens and earth, then you do not believe in God. But today, since you believe in God, and pursue life, since you pursue the knowledge of God, and do not pursue dead letters and…” Read More

03. What Will the Consequences Be if One Only Holds to the Name of Jehovah and the Name of the Lord Jesus in One’s Belief, and Does Not Accept the New Name of the Returned Lord?

For several thousand years, people who believed in God have believed that God’s name is changeless, and took holding to God’s name to mean having faith in God. So then why is it that believers in Judaism hold only to the name Jehovah and do not accept the name of the Lord Jesus, and yet are weeded out? The Bible prophesied that God would have a new name in the last days: “And I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God: and I will write on him my new name” (Rev 3:12). If we only hold to the name of the Lord Jesus and do not accept the new name of the returned Lord, what will the consequences be of believing in God this way?
